The LAUSD is proposing the construction of one new high school, South Los Angeles Area New High School No. 3. The proposed high school would accommodate 1,215 seats for grades 9 through 12, and include 45 classrooms that involves approximately 128,000 square feet of development. The proposed project would relieve overcrowding at Manual Arts High School.
