The project is consistent with the General Plan because cellular antenna facilities as well as other utilities are anticipated in agricultural/rural areas to serve the surrounding populace. The project is subject to the policies of the Lakeside Community Plan. Zoned A70 (Limited Agriculture), which anticipates civic uses and permits cell sites under the Minor Impact Utilities Use Type pursuant to the Zoning Ordinance Section 2704.b, therefore, the proposed project is consistent with plan and zone.

Document Description
The proposed project is a Minor Use Permit for an unmanned wireless telecommunication facility. The proposed project consists of 12 panel antennas mounted on a new 35-foot high support structure disguised as a monoelm tree. The associated equipment cabinets will be placed in a 25-foot by 12-foot block wall enclosure. The associated back-up generator will be surrounded by a retaining wall. The proposed unmanned wireless telecommunications facility will be located in the northern portion of the subject parcel northeast of the existing single-family residence. The proposed project is located on a 10.99-acre site in the Community of Lakeside at 15826 Sycamore Canyon Road.
