Reasons for Exemption
This project consists of one 5,394 sf structure and site improvements in an urbanized area. Under Section 15303(c), up to four commercial buildings not exceeding 10,000 sf in floor area on sites zoned for such use where all public services are available, there is no use of hazardous materials and the area is not environmentally sensitive are exempt. This project meets all of these requirements for exemption and is in compliance with the General Commercial General Plan and Zoning designations.
