The project will also include a small expansion of exhibit space by the addition of decking over of two open areas on the second story. This decking would provide approximately 800 sf of additional exhibit space. The project involves a negligible expansion of the current museum. The modifications will be made in conformance to Title 24, the state building code. The project will be partially funded by a California Cultural and Historical Endowment Grant, which is administered by the State Library.
