The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2005-0072-R2 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Department of Water Resources. The proposed project involves the construction and two-year operation of a demonstration water aeration facility designed to improve water quality and aquatic habitat in the Deep Water Ship Channel by supplying 10,000 lbs. of oxygen per day to the channel.
