Document Description
The project includes the operation of the San Juan Road Iron and Manganese Treatment Facility at a capacity of 1100 gpm. The treatment plant includes manganese dioxide pressure filters, filter media, an automatic backwash system, and backwash recycling and disposal. The project alson includes the operation of the San Juan Well. The well construction was determined to be an activity exempted from CEQA by the Monterey County Planning Department and the operation of the well is limited to 700 gpm.
