Document Description
The Mesquite Lake Specific Plan consists of approximately 5,100 acres located in central Imperial County. The County of Imperial designated the site as a Specific Area Plan on the 1993 General Plan to establish an area for new job-producing light, medium, and heavy industrial uses. A draft specific plan has been prepared for the project site to implement the SPA designation and proposes that the project area be developed with approximately 4,382 acres of industrial uses, 480 acres of agriculture and aquaculture, 69 acres of government / special public, and 169 acres of major roads.
