- This project involves the continued remediation of soil and groundwater monitoring in accordance with the methods and procedures described in the draft Remedial Action Plan prepared by PES Environmental, Inc. (2004). Activities will include continued soil vapor extraction to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from subsurface soils; continued groundwater monitoring of VOCs; recordation of deed restrictions; and implementation of an operation and maintenance program for the Area 8 cap.
