Document Description
The proposed project is approval of a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) which proposes the excavation and off-site disposal of soils with concentrations of lead above the lead cleanup goal of 260 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg). Soil excavation is proposed for the majority of the eastern area of the Site, part of the northern and southern portion and two areas inside the manufacturing building. These areas will be excavated to about two feet. It is estimated that a total of 770 cubic yards of contaminated soil is to be excavated from these areas.
