Document Description
Caltrans is proposing to rehabilitate northbound and southbound Interstate 5, located north of the city of Mr. Shasta in Siskiyou County. The project scope includes replacing localized areas of severe failure; sealing cracks and overlaying with 60mm rubberized asphalt concrete, widening shoulders to the median, and paving cut slope ditches. The project also proposes to increase weaving lengths on the on-ramps, lengthen land drops on mainline, placement of shoulder backing throughout the project, replace guardrail, replace asphalt concrete dike, construct 2% shoulder cross slope, and placement of rumble strips.
