Document Description
The project is the implementation of interim remedial measures at the Duke Energy Power Plant (Plant) to remediate the groundwater contamination discovered near the Moss Landing Harbor. A contaminant plume on the western boundary of the Plant has been identified as containing low concentrations of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs), primarily 1,1,1-trichloroethane (1,1-dichloroethane (1,1-DCA), and 1,1-dichloroethene (1,1-DCE).
