Document Description
Caltrans proposes to rehabilitate seven culverts on Highway 271 between Cummings and Andersonia in Mendocino Coutnty. The existing culverts are substandard, in need of repair, and allow overtopping of the roadway during wet season. The project includes replacement of corroded corrugated metal pipe (CMP) and Alternate Pipe Culverts (APC) either in place or at an elevation slightly above existing; replacement of down drains, placement of rock slope protection, and construction of headwalls in some locations.
