Document Description
The California Integrated Waste Management Board (Board) has determined that there are approximately 2,000 waste tires that have been dumped into the San Joaquin River, which borders Fresno and Madera Counties. On the Fresno County side of the river there is a strip of land owned by Fresno County with a 60-foot (vertical) embankment from which the tires were illegally dumped into the river.
