This EIS evaluates the proposed designation of the LA-3 Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS) as a permanent site for the ocean disposal of dredged material. The EIS also evaluates the joint ocean disposal at both LA-2 and LA-3 on an overall regional basis so that the cumulative environmental impacts of disposal within Los Angeles and Orange Counties can be minimized.
