Document Description
The project consists of a minor modification of the project description from the ParkeBridge Residential Subdivision Project EIR to identify the proposed trail crossing over B-Drain Canal along the proposed Ninos Trail as a box culvert crossing instead of a fully-spanned pedestrian crossing. This would result in a total of three potential box culvert crossings and one fully-spanned pedestrian crossing. The ParkeBridge Residential Subdivision Project was approved and an EIR certified by the City Council on March 14, 2006 (Resolution No. 2006-192), which permitted the development of 531 residential units on approximately 86. 7 acres of land. The project also included four crossings of B-Drain Canal (owned by Reclamation District 1000): two for automobile traffic and two for pedestrian traffic. While the two automobile crossings were specified in the certified EIR to potentially require culverts in the canal, the two pedestrian crossings over B-Drain canal were anticipated to completely span the canal so that there would be no footings or pilings placed within the canal.
