Document Description
The proposed improvements to the Waste Water Treatment Facility (WWTF) and disposal area include modifications at the treatment plant and discharge of treated effluent to additional farm land. The current rated capacity of the WWTF is 0.29 MGD. Most recent flow data shows that the daily and monthly flows are very close to the rated capacity. Moreover, the effluent quality does not always meet discharge requirements. As a result of capacity and treatment performance problems the Board of the Pixley PUD proposes to improve treatment and increase treatment and disposal capacity of the facility to 0.50 MGD.
