Document Description
Implementation of a Groundwater Management Plan for the Elsinore Basin. Plan elements include development of water conservation, policies for well construction, destruction and abandonment, septic tank policies and plan, formation of an advisory committee, a groundwater monitoring program, a system of aquifer storage and recovery wells, groundwater recharge in Railroad Canyon, maintenance of lake levels, and improvements to the existing distribution system. A model was prepared to evaluate the overall effects on the Elsinore Groundwater Basin.
