Document Description
(a) Amend the Western Rosedale Specific Plan from UER (Urban Estate Residential - minimum 0.5 net acre/unit) to LI (Light Industrial) for 5.52 acres; (b) A change in zone classification from A (Exclusive Agriculture District) to M1 PD (Light Industrial Precise Development Combining) for 5.52 acres and E1/2 RS (Estate District minimum lot size of 1/2 acre Residential Suburban Combining) for 31.64 acres. The project site is approximately 37.16 acres total acres of vacant land and structures including an abandoned commercial nursery and an existing farrier business. The site is currently designated UER (Urban Estate Residential - minimum 0.5 net acre/unit) by the Western Rosedale Specific Plan. The applicant anticipates the development of 46 single-family residential units on one-half acres lots zoned E1/2 on 31.61 acres, and the development of future industrial uses on the 5.52 acre zoned M1 PD.
