The City of Fresno is proposing to enter a long-term contract with the United States providing for project water service from the Friant Division of the Central Valley Project. The contract provides for delivery to the City of up to 60,000 acre-feet per year of Friant Class 1 water for municipal and industrial purposes for 40 years. The contract will replace an existing long-term contract.
