Document Description
The applicant was cited for placing over 1,000 cubic yards of concrete rubble and other fill material illegally along left bank of the Salinas River, removing riparian vegetation from the bank, and creating a ponded area in the river channel. The proposed project would remove the illegally placed fill material, grade the bank back to a stable slope, revegetate the site, and remove the ponded area from within the channel. The project is necessary for the applicant to comply with court-ordered remediation of the site. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2004-0600-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
