Document Description
The Stanislaus LAFCO has prepared a MSR and SOI Update for the County Service Areas, all of which are located in various areas throughout Stanislaus County. The Districts are legally authorized to provide storm water drainage services and other extended services and as special districts they are required to have an adopted and updated SOI. The Cortese-Knox-Hertzberg Act of 2000 calls for the Service Review to be completed prior to or concurrent with the SOI Update. The Service Review evaluates the public services provided by the Districts and provides the information base for updating each of the District's SOIs. It is recommended that the SOI boundaries for each of the Districts reviewed remain unchanged.
