Richvale Irrigation District (RID) is proposing to sell up to 17,275 acre feet of water to the State Water Project Contractors Authority during the 2005 irrigation season. The water would be made available by crop idling on up to 5,235 acres within RID and would be managed by the California Department of Water Resources for deliveries to the purchaser.
