Document Description
The lead agency proposes several improvements to Lewelling / East Lewelling Boulevard within the project limits. The project would widen the roadway to 4 travel lanes with raised medians and left-turn pockets; install 3-meter sidewalks on both sides of the roadway; install planting strips and/or tree wells between the roadway and sidewalk area; add on-street (Class II) bike lanes on both sides of the roadway between Meekland Avenue and Hesperian Blvd.; and modify the traffic signal system as needed, including installation of a new traffic signal and pedestrian crossing midblock at San Lorenzo High School.
