Document Description
The property contained fruit orchards from the early 1950's to 1988. As part of the orchard operation, pesticides, including both inorganic (lead arsenate) and chlorinated organic pesticides (e.g., DDT) were applied to the orchard area. Arsenic was identified as the main soil contaminate. The project proposes to excavate approximately 2,400 cubic yards of soil and transport it to a permitted facility.
