The Patterson Joint Unified School District proposes to undertake the acquisition of the Project Site subject to future environmental analysis, and further State Approvals. The District is considering possible use of the Project Site for an additional high school. However, the District intends to allow the Project Site to continue to be utilized for agricultural purposes until such time as State Approvals are obtained, thereby permitting the District to obtain State Funding and proceed with consideration of an additional high school to accommodate grade 9-12 students from existing, approved, and future residences that will generate students in excess of the capacity of the District's existing high school.
