Document Description
The proposed project consists of the construction and operation of approximately 4,980 lineal feet of a 24-inch diameter potable water transmission main and appurtenances. The proposed project will also include the construction and operation of an additional 125 horsepower vertical turbine pumping unit and associated piping for the existing Alvarez Pump Station. Included with the Alvarez Pump Station Expansion project will be the replacement of the existing electrical motor control panel.
Alzarez Pump Station is located on one parcel totaling 0.24 acres, owned by Rancho California Water District. The pump station site lies in unincorporated Riverside County, fronting State Hwy. 79 South approximately 1,400 feet west of the intersection of Anza Road and State Hwy. 79 South. The transmission main will be located within State Hwy. 79 South from the Alvarez Pump Station site to Anza Road and within Anza Road from State Hwy. 79 South to Monte Verde Road.
