Document Description
The Project is limited to the alteration of the SCR and associated tributaries due to implementation of the Santa Clara River Arundo/Tamarisk Removal Program (SCARP). SCARP will consist of six geographic regions or reaches. Chipping of Arundo stalks will be permitted to be used as mulching materials in upland disturbed Project areas. Chipping will be limited to the stalks, no part of the rhizome shall be disturbed or chipped. Monitoring shall be conducted in mulched areas to ensure no spreading or regrowth of invasive arundo will take place.
