Document Description
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation proposes to install a new stream gage on the San Joaquin River near the Highway 41 crossing. A three-foot by three-foot area will be leveled and a concrete pad will be poured above the riverbank. A metal gage house will be installed on the concrete pad. A four-inch wide, one foot deep trench will be excavated into the side of the riverbank for installation of gage conduit. At the base of the trench, a 1.5-inch perforated pipe will extend into the river containing instruments to take measurements of water quality, temperature, and river stage.
