Caltrans proposes to install full-scale BMP pilot projects to evaluate the effectiveness of new media filter technologies for treating storm-water runnoff from highway facilities. The project consists of retrofitting four existing infiltration basin sites, with filter media testing basins. All work will take place within the existing State right-of-way or United States Forest Service easement area.
