Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Other
Type, Section or Code
General Rule, Section 15061(b)(3
Reasons for Exemption
Although the Site is on the hazardous waste and substances sites list complied pursuant to Government code Section 65262.5 dated January 2000, DTSC has determined that there is no possibility of significant environmental impact from the project. The activity is not a final remedy for the site. It is intended to control contaminant sources, stabilize the site and provide additional site characterization prior to final remedy development. The potential impact of the project is limited by its small scale, limited duration, industrial location, and the control measures that will be in place during work.
