The California Department of Public Health (Department) is the responsible agency. The Department's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program is providing state funds for the project. The Montara Water and Sanitary District proposes to construct components of their Public Works Master Plan, Phase l. The Department funding agreement will fund construction of the Alta Vista Water Storage Tank, Alta Vista Well and Pipeline, and new Schoolhouse Tanks 1 and 2.
