Based on EID's analysis of environmental, technical and economic considerations for each of these sites, EID staff selected two proposed reservoir sites. The first proposed site is located in eastern Sacramento County immediately adjacent to the El Dorado/Sacramento County boundary line and approximately 1.5 miles from the El Dorado Hills WWTP. The second proposed site is located in western El Dorado County near EID's Deer Creek WWTP. The East Sacramento site is bordered on one side by the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks. In general, both locations are surrounded by open space areas.
Document Description
CDFG is executing a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement #1600-2007-0384-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Dena McCann, El Dorado Irrigation District. The project consists of additional geotechnical investigations at El Dorado Hills seasonal storage site in addition to the geotechnical work identified in the filed Aug. 15, 2007 NOE.
