Document Description
Proposal to perform maintenance on five county-maintained fishways: Quail Hollow, Lompico Creek, Love Creek, Moores Gulch, and Casserly Creek. Expected maintenance work includes removing sediment and woody material from the fishway, and the repair and replacement of flashboards and flashboard brackets within the fishway. Flow will be diverted around the fishway during sediment removal, which is expected to occur once per year during the low-flow season. The County will be receiving a five year Streambed Alteration Agreement from the California Department of Fish and Game. The project site covers five creeks: Zavante, Lompico, Love, Moore's, and Casserly.
