Document Description
The project is limited to the removal of a 2.3 foot wide by 30-foot-long concrete dam. The dam at 0.45 miles upstream of the confluence with San Vicente Creek is called the Mill Creek Lower Dam and was never used as a water supply for the town of Davenport and has suffered from structural integrity issues. Temporary diversion and
dewatering will take place in order for construction to proceed. Vegetation removal will take place for temporary access. This is to advise that CDFW, acting as a Responsible Agency, approved the above described project on May 12, 2021 and has made the following determinations regarding the project pursuant to California Code of Regulations section 15096, subdivision (i):
