Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0205-R, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, County of Santa Cruz Parks, Open Space and Cultural Services. The project is limited to construction of an instream sediment basin, construction of a drainage swale, and road improvements as part of a property-wide sediment control project. The sediment basin will be 105 feet long by 70 feet wide and will collect agriculturally derived sediment from neighboring agricultural lands and will hold a maximum volume of 0.15 acre-feet. Road work will include approx. 90 feet of grading, rocking, and creating/modification of rolling dips within the existing road footprint. A 115 linear foot swale will be constructed adjacent to the road to direct the road drainage into the riparian area. During the construction of the swale, there will be minor impacts to native blackberry and willow species.
