Document Description
The project is limited to the following activities in or near Quail Hollow Brook: rock lining of the Quail Hollow Pond outlet draining into Quail Hollow Brook, including removal and replacement of the existing concrete structure; repair of three headcuts stemming from concentration of flows from a hiking trail using rock gabions; installation of five instream rock check dams to slow water and provide grade control; installation of twelve coir log structures instream to slow water before and after the rock check dams; and construction of four rolling dips with associated culverts on the adjacent dirt access road created by current road conditions. CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0170-R3 pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the project applicant, Jeff Gaffney, Santa Cruz County Department of Parks.
