Document Description
The project is limited to the re-grading of an existing 12 foot by 30 foot wetland depression to increase breeding habitat and extend the hydroperiod for amphibians. The wetland, which is hydrologically connected to Santa Cruz County Stream 484, will be increased ten-fold (approximately 60 feet by 60 feet). The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2013-0201-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Karen Christensen, Resource Conservation District of Santa Cruz County.
