The goal of the project is to treat sediment and contaminant-laden water that enters onto a property from adjacent operations. This treatment will result in better quality water being released as it exits towards Pinto Lake. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2006-0354-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Karen Christensen / Santa Cruz County Resource Conservation District.
