Document Description
This project is under the Master Permit issued to the Santa Cruz County Resource Conservation District (RCD) to administer the Santa Cruz Countywide Permit Coordination Program, for small, environmentally beneficial projects in Santa Cruz County. The project activities include the re-grading of an ~20,000 sf wetland area within the existing drainage to remove invasive plant species and create both shallow water and deep water habitat for the Santa Cruz long-toed salamander and California red-logged frog. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement, Number 1600-2011-0176-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Resource Conservation District of Santa Cruz County.
