Document Description
The project will improve habitat on Queseria Creek for anadromous fish during high winter flows, as well as during low flow periods in late spring and early summer, through the installation of rock vane structures to improve fish migration. A culvert crossing which was an impediment to fish passage was previously removed and will now be replaced with a bridge comprised of two railroad flatcars that are welded together for a 20' x 50' dimension. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2007-0239-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Karen Christensen / Santa Cruz County Resource Conservation District.
