Document Description
Install up to 7 gates and 55 signs to implement nighttime closure of beaches as needed within Sonoma Coast State Beach. Gates will consist of 4 inch galvanized pipe and will be painted yellow. Each gate will have an 18" x 18" red reflector for nightime visibility. Gates are proposed for installation at Campbell Cove, North Salmon Creek, Schoolhouse Beach, Portuguese Beach, Duncans Landing and Shell Beach. Signs consist of "NO PARKING" (12" x 18") signs posted to a maximum of 6' height at traffic pullouts and "GATE OPEN" (30" x 16") or "BEACH PARKING" (36" x 22") signs providing hours of operation for each parking lot posted on gates.
