Reasons for Exemption
The project will provide annual maintenance for a rail car bridge at Mattole Road to prevent damage to bridge abutments. Accumulated gravel adjacent to the abutments and the bridge deck will be removed and placed within the channel downstream, where it will be naturally dispersed on the beach by tidewaters. There will be no expansino of use as a result of this project. The project will have no significant effect on the environment.
