The project proposes to replace diversion structures on the west and east banks of the river, replace a seasonal gravel weir with a rock diversion weir and rebuild rock slope protection at existing diversion sites. The diversion structures will retain the same purpose and capacity when the project is completed. The project will have no significant effect on the environment.
