Reasons for Exemption
The project proposes to remove willow trees from the center of the channel and to push gravel from the center of the channel to the banks and create a 2:1 slope with the fill. Willow trees and sprigs will be planted in the fill to stabilize the banks. The project will stabilize approximately two acres of stream channel. The primary purpose of the project is to reduce or eliminate erosion and sedimentation. The project will have no significant adverse effect on the environment.
