The project will involve hand digging a shallow trench to install conduit, mounting a telephone box on the exterior of the building under the porch out of view and running telephone line from the box to an existing conduit that enters the building to the cash register. The project area will be photographed before, during and after installation of the telephone line. A qualified archaeologist will monitor the trenching. The telephone box and line will be minimally visible. All materials will be replaced "in-kind". All changes to the building, the installation of the telephone box and line, will be reversible.
