Document Description
East Valley Water District (EVWD) owns a groundwater production well at its Plant #27 site. A recent videolog of the well casing revealed corrosion of the casing and areas where the casing appears to be crumbling. EVWD is proposing to clean the well, install a new casing with new gravel lining, and install a new pump and motor on the well. Historically, the Plant #27 well has produced up to 800 gallons per minute (gpm). It is EVWD's goal to produce about 700 gpm from the rehabilitated well. The purpose of the project is to maintain reliable water supplies for the EVWD system.
