The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Tri-Dam Project, Post Office Box 1158, Pinecrest, California, 95264. The Project consists of the installation of third generation unit, powerhouse and access road, below Tulloch Dam, including installation of a tailwater exclusion retaining wall approximately 37 feet long and 10 feet high below the existing valve house. Concrete, shotcrete, and rock anchors will be installed near the existing valve house to facilitate the construction of the exclusion retaining wall. A grout curtain will be constructed in the rock mass surrounding the excavations for penstock, powerhouse and draft tube using cement grout mix. Modifications to the existing low-level outlet valve house will facilitate the plumbing and relocation of two (2) existing low-level outlet valves.
