Document Description
In its CPUC application (A.03-12-039) for a permit to construct the Potrero to House Point 115 kilo-volt (kV) Cable Project pursuant to General Order (GO) 131-D, PG&E is proposing a project that includes the installation of approximately 2.5 miles of underground 115 kV single-circuit cable, with a power rating of 200 megavolt amperes (MVA) to serve as a transmission line between PG&E's Potrero and Hunters Point switchyards. The proposed project would also include modifications to each of the switchyards. Additionally, construction staging acres would be needed to store equipment and excavated materials. The proposed project is limited to provide necessary internal transmission network reinforcements to the electrical transmission system serving the City and County of San Francisco.
