The City seeks to construct well and pumping facilities to obtain approximately 9,250 gallons per minute groundwater supply from the deep aquifer to replace lost groundwater capacity from wells removed from service since 1987. Approximately 4 to 6 replacement wells and a storage tank and pump station are required to obtain the necessary peaking capacity to meet current needs.
