Document Description
Following certification of the EIR in September 2005, several changes to the proposed Facilities Master Plan (FMP) were proposed. Although the project remains substantially the same, an Addendum to the EIR was prepared to address the potential environmental impacts associated with the project changes and to complete the environmental analysis required under CEQA. Implementation of the FMP will include demolition of buildings, renovation/modernization of several structures, the construction of new structures and sports fields, and increased parking capacity through the provision of additional parking lots and a parking structure. Overall, the plan focuses on facilities that support campus activities and proposes construction of approximately 146,000 additional assignable square feet (a.s.f.) of building space on the campus for a total of approximately 543,000 a.s.f. on site. Based on the environmental analysis in the Addendum, preparation of a subsequent or supplemental EIR for the proposed project is not required.
